Walt has written dozens of hits including "(There's) No Gettin' Over Me" for Ronnie Milsap, "Holding Her and Loving You" for Earl Thomas Conley, and "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde" for Travis Tritt. His band, The Shooters, was signed to Epic Records released seven charting singles.
