Jeffrey Steele is a songwriter with about 500 cuts including recordings by Cascada, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lucky Bucks, Joe Nichols, Jason Michael Carrol, Rascal Flatts, and Faith Hill.
When not writing he can be found producing and performing. Jeffrey lent his producing skills on the Montgomery Gentry albums My Town and Some People Change as well as Keith Anderson’s latest album, C’mon!. Jeffrey also spends time on the road promoting his own material and playing dates with such artists as; VanZant, Delbert McClinton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
When he’s in Nashville writing, he is also running his publishing company 3 Ring Circus Music. Jeffrey can also be seen on GAC’s, THE HITMEN OF MUSIC ROW, which chronicles the lives of four chart-topping Nashville songwriters.
We talked about how Jeffrey got his start in the music business, got advice for upcoming songwriters, and lots more...including the stories behind some of his biggest hits, as well as in studio performances with just Jeffrey on an acoustic guitar.
