A lot of stuff happens when we tape an episode of Music Business Radio... And we have guests that usually give us more content than we're able to put on the air, or stimulate discussions that would be just too long for the broadcast version of the show. We only have an hour, you know.
That's why we've just started up a podcast-only segment, the Music Business Radio Post-Show Show. In it, you'll get the "deep thoughts" from David Hooper, producer Gary Kraen, and engineer Dan Buckley the current episode's topic and how bands, musicians, songwriters, and others in the music business can learn from it.
For example, a couple of days ago, the main show was with media coach Wayne Kelly. We talked about how people in the music business can use the power of radio (and other media) to get the word out about gigs, new releases, and other projects via interviews.
So the Post-Show Show talked about the booking process for Music Business Radio, how we pick guests, why we pick them, etc. And, since Dan has a show of his own, where he interviews bands and musicians coming through town, we talked about how he does the same thing.
If you want to know how to get on the radio to plug your stuff, this is for you.
The Post-Show Show is the real, nitty gritty stuff we can't put on broadcast radio. We name names and give specific details that you won't get on elsewhere, yet compliments what we talk about on the broadcast show.
The Music Business Radio Post-Show Show is coming soon and it will be delivered exclusively via this web site... Subscribe to the podcast to make sure you don't miss it.
