In the Studio... Tim McFadden

Tim McFadden was in the Music Business Radio studios today.  Tim has been in the music business over 30 years and worked with acts from Tim McGraw, to Dolly Parton, to his current management clients like Sam Bush and Matt King.  His background includes radio, promotion, sales, management, song-plugging, and production.  He's worked with every major label from RCA, to Sony, to Warner Brothers.

We talked about career longevity, the importance of relationships if the music business (as well as how they're developed), what makes an artist great, and more.  And we reviewed demos...

Demos Reviewed: Kid Brother, Mean Mary and Jamestown, Jason Savory, Emmeth North Jr., Corpus, and Carolyn Wonderland.

Afterwards, David and Dan recorded a "Music Business Radio Post-Show Show," which went into depth more about what Tim discussed.  This is content which will not be aired on broadcast radio, so be sure to subscribe to our free podcast if you want it.

Sounds technical, right?  It's not.  All you need is iTunes...not even an iPod.  If you have iTunes, just click this link and you'll be set. :)

Show is currently being edited and will air shortly.
