Leslie Tomasino DiPiero's first publishing experience came in Miami, working for Steve Alaimo (writer of the Allman Brothers song, "Melissa") at Lindsay Ann Music. Alaimo was a mentor, teaching her about the world of publishing, songwriters and artists.
After a move to Nashville, she opened her own publishing company, Tom-Leis Music in 2004.
Currently, Tom-Leis Music has three writers: Sarah Buxton on Lyric Street Records, Brandon Kinney on Capitol Records, and Troy Johnson.
The company has had over 25 cuts by artists including: George Canyon, Sara Evans, Blaine Larsen, Keith Urban, and Trent Willmon.
