New Show - Al Bunetta

Al Bunetta was in the Music Business Radio studio today and gave us an amazing inteview! 

Al is co-founder of Oh Boy! Records and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business including, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson, and Steve Goodman.  He's also got an ear to the street when it comes to discovering new talent like the most recent Oh Boy! signing, 21-year-old guitar player Slick Ballinger.

Al got his start as road manager for the Young Rascals and eventually moved on to booking acts such as Al Green for CMA.  That's how he was first introduced to John Prine.  That relationship has lasted over 30 years.

This was a great show with some really good advice for upcoming musicians.  It's being edited now and will air shortly.

Also in the studio was Bob Hoose, who was our Independent Artist of the Week.  Bob is an extremely talented "Sinatra-style" vocalist with a 16-piece big band.

New Show - David Henry

David Henry was in the studio today.  He's a musician, producer, and engineer who has done work with REM, Ben Folds, Guster, Butterfly Boucher, Cowboy Junkies, and Indigo Girls, among others.

David had some very interesting thoughts on balancing work and other aspects of life as well as gave his story about exactly how he went from being just another musician in Nashville to an in-demand engineer, producer, and studio musician.
